A number of years ago a small group of scientists needed assistance translating a new discovery of mosquito population control into a commercial product. After several years of development and prototyping, the Mosquito Magnet was born. And with it was born an industry that today sells portable mosquito control devices all over the world. Universal Plastics ability to thermoform the custom plastic outdoor enclosure was a key to launching this product.

Universal Plastics improved on an old chassis design by upgrading the material to TPO in a bright yellow color, which greatly improved the durability and appearance over the earlier generation HDPE sled.
